The only reason...

I don't want to pull my hair out by Labor Day is due to hosting a Summer Workshop. It helps set up my staff for success and cut down on so much scrambling at the beginning of the year. Plus, the students get to know me and really understand what they're in for by joining yearbook. My intention here is to give you ideas. Believe me, I know that hosting a summer workshop isn't feasible for everyone, but I do believe it's more within reach than advisors might give themselves and their students credit for. At the end of the day, my goal is always to enjoy my job and feel like I've set my students up for success and my summer workshop helped me feel more confident and prepared for day 1. That's why I want to share it with you.
